Krishn Kaushik is an award-winning journalist based in New Delhi, with over 10 years of experience. Presently, he’s with one of India’s most respected newspapers, The Indian Express, where he reports on Defence, Business, Politics and Investigations.
A graduate of Columbia School of Journalism, Krishn started with The Caravan–India’s foremost longform magazine–as a staff writer, reporting on lobbying by a top corporate group, the attorney general using his office to help the government and his business friends, the functioning of the media, and the oil and gas industry, among other stories.
Since 2016, he has been with The Indian Express as part of its National Bureau, where he’s not just done rigorous reportage, but also broken national stories and been part of investigative projects.
He has reported from some of the most sensitive and violence-ridden parts of the country, including Kashmir, Ladakh, Assam, Manipur, Mizoram and Bastar, among other states.
Krishn has won several national awards for political, business and investigative reporting.
